Why TranscriptKit exists

Short-form video is spoken-first: the interesting part of most TikTok, Reels, and YouTube videos is what is said, not what is shown. But that speech is locked inside players that make copying awkward and downloading impossible. TranscriptKit turns spoken video into text you can actually work with — read it, quote it, translate it, subtitle it.

What we build

Eight focused tools, one per job: a TikTok transcript generator, a TikTok script extractor, a TikTok transcript downloader, an Instagram transcript generator, a YouTube transcript generator and downloader, a video transcript generator for local files, and an MP4-to-text converter. Every tool shares the same engine: existing captions first, modern speech recognition second, clean exports always.

How we treat your data

TranscriptKit is privacy-first by design. Uploaded files travel straight from your browser to the speech-to-text provider and are never stored on our servers. Submitted links are used only to fetch the transcript you asked for. No accounts, no tracking walls, no archives of your work.
