What the service does

TranscriptKit provides free tools that convert the spoken audio of public TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube videos — and video files you choose — into text transcripts and subtitle files.

Your responsibilities

Only submit links to public content you are allowed to use, and only upload files you have the rights to. Do not use the service to bypass privacy settings, paywalls, or platform restrictions: private, deleted, or restricted content is deliberately not supported. Respect the copyright of the content you transcribe; transcripts are for your legitimate use such as note-taking, quoting, accessibility, and research.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcripts may contain errors; always verify critical text against the original audio. Tools may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranscriptKit is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service or reliance on its output.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the latest version, and continued use means acceptance of the changes.
